About
APT Group has laid fibre across the UK since 2014. Dandiworks is what happened when the tools we built for our own crews turned out to be better than anything we could buy.
We are the software company inside a fibre group. Which means we have watched a lot of software fail in the field, and we build ours not to.
It started with APT Manager. Our fibre crews needed a way to receive jobs, log work and get paid without keying the same numbers in three times. Nothing off the shelf fitted, so we built it. The engineers liked it, the office liked it more, and other businesses started asking whether we could do the same for them.
So we did. Dandiworks is the software side of APT Group: a small team of senior engineers who design, build and look after products for businesses across the UK. We work in partnership with Heapium, so every project gets two studios’ worth of experience and one team’s worth of accountability. We sit in the same building as the fibre business, which keeps us honest about what “done” means.

Now
Six products in production
AURA and the AWS dashboard join them. All built with Heapium, all looked after from this office.
What we hold to
Our group lays fibre for a living. Things that go in the ground have to work for decades. We bring the same attitude to software.

The stack
The tools we reach for most. They are also physics objects, because it was a slow Friday.

Ready when you are
A thirty minute call is usually enough to know whether software will fix it, and roughly what it would cost. No pitch deck, no pressure.
